Villa Asante — 4BR Villa Rental in Canggu

About this villa
This four-bedroom villa in Canggu is set 300 metres from the surf break and Echo Beach. There are four bathrooms, and the house sleeps eight. Its character is elegant and contemporary, with a clear Balinese sensibility.

The villa stands within walled gardens planted with stately Travellers Palms, flowering gingers and frangipani trees. The design is symmetrical. At its centre is a two-storey building, flanked on either side by an open-sided pavilion, one for living and one for dining.

Both pavilions look across the swimming pool to a lawn at the river's edge, and beyond it to rice terraces. Because the pavilions are open at the sides, meals and quiet afternoons are spent in the garden rather than behind glass, with the pool in front and the lawn running down towards the river.
